Twenty years ago, single mom Patty Ramsey took an old family recipe and a borrowed pizza kitchen and through hard work and perseverance founded a local landmark. Patty's Pantry has been providing Arlington, TX and surrounding areas with the finest cheesecake and brownies since. In 1993 Ms. Ramsey sold Patty's Pantry to local businesswoman Edith Morehouse.
Mrs. Morehouse and her daughter Cynthia have continued the tradition of creating fine cheesecakes and baked goods. All the cheesecakes and brownies are made from scratch in small batches, on the premises. There are no conveyor belts or flash freezer, just old fashion baking with simple ingredients.
In 2001, Mrs. Morehouse moved the business to a larger storefront, doubling the size of the bakery. They have added other baked goods to the product line. There is also a cafe for coffee, baked breakfast pastries, and most importantly desserts. In the spring of 2006, Mrs. Morehouse sold Patty's Pantry to the Chawdhry \ Chambers family continuing the tradition of Patty's Pantry.
